Update re: Family Reunion - July 18, 2026!Hello All, We have decided to confirm the Pioneers Building in Calgary, instead of the Railway Orientation Centre at Heritage Park. That seems to make sense with their location, hours of operation, and history of similar events. At Heritage Park it had to be either a day or evening event. At the Pioneers Building we have the whole day, from early afternoon until close! We are already up to 44 attendees and counting! The adult ticket price per person will be approximately $145.00. (Children will be less.) As the attendance numbers become more predictable and the expenses are more exact, we hope to bring the price lower. (Our goal is just to cover our costs - not to make a profit.) Please let us know if there are any Food Allergies or Dietary Restrictions that we should be aware of. When the time comes to pay, you can send a cheque to the DFA at 1206 - 1 Lomond Drive, Toronto, ON M8X 2Z3; but the easiest way to pay is via email transfer to admin@dragland.org. The funds will be automatically deposited to our DFA account at TD Canada Trust. I have also secured a Group Hotel rate at the Best Western Plus Calgary Centre Inn for July 17, 18 & 19 for those who need it. $207.00/night down from $260.00, with a minimum booking of 10 rooms, under the name "Dragland Family Association". Make your reservation ASAP with a preauthorization, and confirm reservation at least 1 month prior to stay/date, July 17th. We have already confirmed 7 rooms. It should not be an issue getting at least 3 more for that rate. We will update with more specific details over the next few weeks.
