Michael Dragland was born in 1975 in Terrace BC, Canada
He is the son of Vaughn Dragland and Jane Goodall.
Michael is on a world-wide sabbatical (currently travelling in Japan).

2006/10/26 Hiroshima
I arrived in Hiroshima last night, and it is a very cool city. Although the reminder of the Atomic bomb will never disapear, the city has turned into the worlds peace capital. I love it here, kind of reminds me of Victoria. I am having a hard time writing more often, as I am always on the move, and internet cafes are hard to find. I am having a great trip though, please dont worry about me. I have made lots of new friends, and they all treat me like royality.

2006/10/14 Yamanaka
Unfortunately, Hotmail will only allow 3 attachments at a time, but I will be making photo cds when I get back to Tokyo. Right now I am in Yamanaka, staying with a family in their beautiful home/temple. We can barely communicate, but they are so, so nice, and are treating me like Royality. I am using their computer which is on dial-up, and they cant use their phone when Im on-line, so Id better go. I promise to write more when I get to Kyoto!

2006/10/10 Mountains
Leaving Tokyo... Just a quick note to let you know I am heading for the mountains. Sorry I havent sent any pictures, I cant seem to figure out the computer systems with everything in Japanese! If you dont hear from me for a few days dont worry, I am just bombing around the Japanese country-side. Oops, I guess I shoudn't say that right now, what with North Korea and all!
